Rochdale AFC Ladies continued their hot vein of form with a stunning 7-2 victory over second placed Heyside Ladies.
Dale started strongly, maintaining possession and creating several opportunities at goal.
The first goal came from Brooke Strudwick who rounded the keeper to slot home.
10 minutes later Strudwick scored her second after a great ball from Emily Hindle and it wasn’t long before Strudwick completed her hat-trick.
An elegant finish past the keeper followed an excellent ball from Emma Flynn just before the interval.
The second half started with a brilliant passing move with Ellie Doggett getting her first of the game.
Doggett was able to score her second and it wasn’t long before she also completed her hat-trick.
Heyside managed to get two goals back due to lapses in Dale’s defensive efforts however, the hosts were determined to retain their dominance.
Tyla Rollins managed to round off the goals with a goal on her debut, giving Dale a deserved win with a 7-2 victory.
This victory has secured Dale’s position at the top of league and has kept the ladies’ winning streak alive at nine on the run.
