Rochdale AFC have teamed up with Junior Soccer League to host their 'Play On The Pitch' tournament at the Crown Oil Arena this coming weekend.
'Play On The Pitch' is being held to officially launch Junior Soccer League's new Rochdale, Oldham & District league.
We're delighted to announce that Rochdale AFC are official partners in this new league.
Formed in May 2010, Junior Soccer League (JSL) has provided an opportunity for young children to participate in football within a modern, welcoming, age appropriate environment based on friendship, respect, sportsmanship, team work, confidence and goal achievement.
JSL’s new Rochdale, Oldham & District league will provide grassroots football in the area with even more opportunities.
The partnership between JSL and Rochdale AFC is ground breaking in terms of a leading grassroots organisation and a local professional Football Club working together.
The ‘Play On The Pitch’ tournament, for teams aged Under-6 to Under-9s, will be held on Sunday 19th May, 10am-4pm.
Youngsters will get the chance to play on the Crown Oil Arena pitch, as well experiencing behind-the-scenes, including walking out of the tunnel!
Everyone who attends will receive a medal and a Rochdale AFC goodie bag, with the winning teams from all age groups picking up a trophy.
