Matchday Arrangements For Joe Thompson's Testimonial

19 July 2019

It’s almost time for Joe Thompson’s Testimonial! His Rochdale Legends side face an All Stars side at the Crown Oil Arena on Sunday 21st July, 2pm kick-off.

Proceeds from the game will go to The Christie charity, and there will be bucket collections for the charity around the ground on Sunday, so please give generously!

Here’s some important information on what to expect on the day…

ADMISSION DETAILS

Supporters can pay cash through the turnstiles on the day for Sunday’s testimonial.

The Main Stand and Smith Metals Family Stand will be open for the fixture. Admission details are as follows:

Adults - £10; Concessions (65+ and 21-and-under) - £5; 11-and-under - £1.

TICKET COLLECTIONS

Fans who have pre-purchased a ticket for the event and marked it down for collection, can do so from Midday on Sunday.

These can be collected from our Ticket Collection Cabin, located on the Crown Oil Arena car park, opposite the five-a-side pitch at the Smith Metals Family Stand end of the stadium.

PARKING

The Club’s car park will not be open to the public on Sunday. This is because of limited space due to the funfair which is taking place.

There are a very small number of space available for ambulant disabled supporters. To enquire about availability of these spaces, please email tickets@rochdaleafc.co.uk.

DESMOND’S DEN

We’re delighted to announce that Desmond’s Den will officially open at Sunday’s game!

Desmond the Dragon’s new home will be open from 11.45am, with Joe Thompson holding a ‘meet and greet’ with our younger fans at 12.45pm.

FUNFAIR

From 11am, there will be a number of fairground rides and activities open on the Crown Oil Arena car park.

Come down early and enjoy the festivities, which also include face painting, a bouncy castle and much more!

FLAG BEARERS

There will be a host of junior clubs at Sunday’s game as flag bearers, welcoming the teams onto the pitch before kick-off, as well as another local club who will be ball boys.
