Following the decision by both clubs – Rochdale Football Club and Bradford City AFC – to abandon Saturday’s pre-season friendly at the Crown Oil Arena due to adverse weather conditions, we can now announce the match abandonment arrangements.
Home supporters leaving the ground should have received a ‘match abandoned’ voucher. These can be swapped for a ticket for one of our home EFL Trophy games this season, against either Manchester City U21s or Bolton Wanderers.
Please note that these must redeemed in advance of the fixture. On sale dates for our EFL Trophy ties will be announced in due course.
It has been agreed with Bradford City that the away gate will be donated to Darby Rimmer MND Foundation, which was set up last year by former Dale and Bantams full-back Stephen Darby.
We would like to thank both sets of supporters for turning out to back their teams on Saturday.
