Rochdale AFC are pleased to have signed a high profile partnership deal with Sporting Pay Ltd who will be installing new merchant terminals at the Football Club and providing a more competitive merchant services rate.
From Saturday's game against Fleetwood Town, fans will now be able to pay by card in all of the bars at the Crown Oil Arena (excluding the catering kiosks). Over the coming weeks, the merchant terminals in Ticket Office and the Club Shop will also be upgraded, offering contactless payment solutions which will speed up transactions and reduce the length of queues on match days.
Chief Executive David Bottomley said: “We are delighted to welcome Sporting Pay to the Club and upgrade our merchant terminals to accept modern day card payments throughout the Club, whilst also improving our merchant services rate. This is a great stride forward and long overdue to bring ourselves into the 21st century and we are proud to be doing this with the best provider in the business.”
