TVOS Preview | Fleetwood Town

23 December 2019

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Boxing Day’s League One fixture against Fleetwood Town.

The programme starts with a front cover image of Calvin Andrew, who has now made over 220 appearances for the club since signing in July 2014.

Manager Brian Barry-Murphy previews the afternoon’s game and briefly reflects on the season as a whole, as well as the club’s vision for the future.

After that the programme is packed with features, including:

MY TEAM-MATES – Calvin Andrew reveals which of his team-mates never stops moaning

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO? – Back to a time in football when getting your Dale news would cost you an absolute fortune

ROOM 101 – Lewis Bradley tells us his pet hates

BACK OF THE NET – a whole-season article focusing on the exploits of Dale’s top 25 goalscorers of all-time, this time with 1930s forward Tommy Tippett

Traveller’s Tales reports on the trip to Oxford and we have action photos from that game at Grenoble Road as well as the home fixture versus Bristol Rovers.

Our regular historical pages – ‘On This Day’ and ‘Through The Years’ – will help readers to jog their Dale memory banks, while regular contributors Scrutator, Brian Quigley, Steven Rittey and John Rowe are back with their thought-provoking and informative columns.

Visitors Fleetwood Town receive extensive coverage, including a look at three previous meetings from the angle of the kits worn by both teams.

All this and much, much more will be in Thursday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
