We confirm that Daniel Adshead suffered ankle ligament damage in Tuesday night’s Checkatrade Trophy group stage tie against Fleetwood Town.
The young midfielder was forced off just before half time in the win over the Cod Army, after being injured as a result of a late challenge on him.
He’s expected to be sidelined for around four to five weeks.
