Fancy Contributing To Next Season's Matchday Programme?

10 May 2018

FANCY WRITING FOR ROCHDALE AFC’S OFFICIAL MATCH PROGRAMME, THE VOICE OF SPOTLAND?

TVOS is again looking for new contributors for next season’s programme and NOW is the time to throw your hat into the ring.

Editor, Mark Wilbraham, would like to add to his team of contributors for the 2018/19 season as he looks to maintain the excellent standards set by the award-winning programme.

We are looking for reliable, talented writers who can produce interesting, fresh content that will add to what is already an in-depth matchday read.

You might feel you can write a general football column or something more Dale-specific. Maybe you could help with some of the features we currently have or perhaps you have some other skills we could use.

In particular, we are interested in someone who may have the skills to produce football kit graphics using software such as Photoshop.

Alternatively, have you any ideas about features and articles YOU would like to read in TVOS from the start of next season?

Whatever ideas or abilities you have, email rochdale_programme@hotmail.com and Mark will get back to you in due course.

EVER BEEN A MASCOT?

As part of a proposed feature for next season’s match programme, we are interested in tracing supporters who have been a Dale mascot at a past game.

We are considering doing a ‘Where Are They Now?’ type of article, but obviously that needs input from the people who were the mascots to make it happen.

For example, if you were the mascot at the home game v Hereford in March 1992 and you would like your story to be featured in next season’s programme, please get in touch.

You don’t need to be attending games anymore – we are interested in the story of how you became the mascot and whether it inspired your Dale support for life or otherwise.

Obviously, if you have a photograph from the time you were the mascot, it will add more interest to the article, although this isn’t essential.

So, if you have been a Dale mascot in the past (the further back in time, the better), or you know someone who has, email the Programme Editor, Mark Wilbraham, at rochdale_programme@hotmail.com, for details about how you may be able to get involved in this series.

OLD IMAGES, CUTTINGS & MEMORABILIA REQUIRED

Do you have an unusual piece of Dale merchandise or memorabilia you would like to share with a wider audience?

Mark Wilbraham, Editor of The Voice of Spotland matchday programme, is looking to build-up his collection of Dale materials, primarily to share with other fans through the pages of TVOS.

The more unique, the better and while the Editor already has a certain number of items, we are sure there must be more out there.

If anyone can help and are prepared to either lend out their items or allow them to be photographed, contact Mark at rochdale_programme@hotmail.com.

In addition, if you have any old newspaper cuttings, match reports or Dale photos that you would contribute to the TVOS archives, we would love to hear from you.

Again, we can digitise most items to be stored on the Editor’s PC, so if you have something that might be of interest, please get in touch.
