We’re delighted to announce that Harrison McGahey has committed his future to the club.
Out of contract this summer, he has signed a new two-year deal.
“It was important to get the contract signed before we come back in for pre-seaso, so I can get going again,” said McGahey.
“I’ve been in touch with all the lads over the summer and I’m looking forward to the start of pre-season - it’s brilliant when we all come back together. With the way we stayed up last season, I think we showed that we’ve got great character in the squad. We all stuck together.”
The 22-year-old joined Rochdale in the summer of 2016 from Sheffield United and has made exactly 100 appearances for Keith Hill’s side since his arrival.
