We’re delighted to say that over 50 gifts have been donated to Cash For Kids’ Mission Christmas Toy Appeal via the collection point at the Crown Oil Arena.
Items for children of all ages have been dropped off, from a trampoline to a table top pool table, games and cars, to dolls and smelly sets, as well as selection boxes and colouring books with pens and pencils.
We would like to thank everyone who donated a gift for their generosity.
Monday 17th December was the last day to drop off any items, and staff from MID Communications came to collect the huge box of goodies on Tuesday. They’ll make sure the box full of presents is sent to the Mission Christmas team, so that they are distributed in time for Christmas.
Mission Christmas is a Bauer Radio’s network initiative, aimed at supporting the needs of children in our local communities, and has been set-up to make sure no child in the Rochale or the North West wakes up on Christmas morning without a present to open.
