Ahead of Tuesday night’s League One fixture against Oldham Athletic at the Crown Oil Arena, we would like to thank fans for their continued support this season, and once again thank those who travelled to Peterborough United on Saturday for helping the players secure an important victory with their backing.
We hope you’ll turn out in numbers on derby day and get behind the lads from the first whistle.
We would also like to a send a reminder that fans must not encroach onto the playing surface, discharge smoke canisters or act in an irresponsible manner which may harm the excellent reputation of the vast majority of Rochdale Football Club supporters.
Rochdale Football Club condemns any act that places the safety of spectators at risk and have a zero-tolerance stance on this matter.
The Football Association have the power to impose heavy sanctions, including financial penalties on clubs whose supporters behave irresponsibly, and the club will have no choice but to issue banning orders to anyone found guilty of committing offences such as those referred to.
