Rochdale 10K / Half Marathon - Run With Team Rochdale!

27 September 2017

The annual Rochdale 10K / Half Marathon event is taking place on Sunday 8th October, starting and finishing from Rochdale Town Hall.

In conjunction with the Dale Supporters Trust, staff from Rochdale AFC and Dale in the Community Sports Trust will be taking part in the event and running the 10K race to raise funds, this time, in memory of Louise Pilling, a former FITC ladies footballing coach who sadly passed away recently from leukaemia.

Supporters are encouraged to join us. We will also have a stall at the event and will be running a penalty shoot-out for spectators.

Not only that, we're delighted to announce that our very own Dave Sweetmore has been confirmed as the official race announcer.

You can register for the race at www.rochdale.gov.uk/rhm Save money by entering online and signing up before midnight on Sunday, 1 October 2017. Everyone who registers before the deadline will pay £31.40 for the half marathon (£29.40 for club-runners) or £20.60 for the 10K (£18.60 for club-runners). The one-mile family fun run is £6.80.

After the online entry deadline you will be still able to enter in person at Rochdale Town Hall, 10am–4pm, Saturday, 7 October 2017 or on the morning of the event from 8am if there are any places remaining, but entry will be charged at the higher rate of £35 for the half marathon (£33 for club-runners) and £23 for the 10K (£21 for club-runners.)

If you are taking part, make sure you wear your Dale shirt to stand out from the crowds!

Any sponsorship donations can be handed in to the RAFC Ticket Office / Club Shop or Dale In the Community Sports Trust Office, or of course you can raise funds for your own charity or take part just for fun.

We hope you can join us and support this worthy cause.
