Rochdale Football Club is proud to be supporting this year’s Stoptober.
Dale are one of 28 football clubs, including Manchester City, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, getting behind the campaign, which is now in its sixth year.
Stoptober has inspired over one million people to make a quit attempt to-date, so if you’re thinking about giving up smoking, why not use this month to give up the cigarettes!
Keith Hicks, from the club’s Community Trust, commented: “We’re all getting behind Stoptober here at Rochdale AFC, and we're encouraging fans to get involved this year.
“If you quit for 28 days this October, you’re five times more likely to quit for good, so Stoptober is the perfect time to try and kick the habit. If you’re thinking of taking part this year, take a look at all the help and support that’s available to you via the Stoptober website.”
