Jordan Slew made his first start since joining the club last month, in Tuesday night’s Checkatrade Trophy tie against Stoke City’s Under-21s at the Crown Oil Arena.
The forward played the full game for Dale and Manager Keith Hill was pleased with his performance.
“I thought he did well tonight,” Hill told iFollow.
“I’m pleased with the progress he’s making and the hard-work that he’s putting in. He’s not been getting minutes because Calvin Andrew is back fit now and Steven Davies has been playing, so he’s got to make sure that he’s doing his best to push them all the way.
“He was good tonight and I’m impressed with him and his attitude.”
