There will be two young mascots when Dale face Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
Kyra Matthews, nine-years-old, and Emily Bannister, 12-years-old, will be leading the teams out ahead of kick-off.
Kyra, who attends St Mary’s Primary School in Balderstone, is a goalkeeper for Rochdale AFC Ladies Under-10s team, and her favourite player is Calvin Andrew.
Emily has contracted a very rare form of cancer, and the Club’s Ratcliffe Bars are holding a charity night in aid of her after the match on Saturday.
