Rochdale’s Emirates FA Cup first round opponent was confirmed on Tuesday night, after Bromley saw off fellow National League side Dover Athletic to book a trip to the Crown Oil Arena next month.
Speaking upon the conclusion of the fourth round qualifying replay between the two sides, Hill gave his initial reaction to the draw.
“It’ll be a difficult game. They’re doing really well in the National League,” he told iFollow.
“And now we know who our opponents are, we’ll have them watched.
“We’ll have to be on our mettle, because everybody likes a cup upset. We’ve produced a few during my time at the football club and we don’t want to fall foul of one, so we’ll give full respect to Bromley and their travelling supporters on the day.”
