Local businesses can once again purchase a raffle ticket to be in with a chance of winning a lucrative 12-month sponsorship package at Rochdale AFC worth over £30,000.
The initiative was launched at Tuesday night’s Dale Business Club attended by over 70 business delegates.
Businesses can purchase a raffle ticket for £1,000 with the chance to win one of three fantastic prizes:
- 12 months sponsorship of the Wilbutts Lane Stand
- Sponsorship of the First Team Shorts for the remainder of the 2017/18 season
- 1 x Official Match Sponsorship package for the 2017/18 season
In addition, each business will receive a stadium advertising hoarding and 4 x VIP Meal & Match tickets to a game of choice during the season.
Existing businesses who purchased a raffle ticket last year can renew for just £750.
Dale Chief Executive, Russ Green said: “Due to the tremendous response from the raffle last year and the feedback from businesses, we decided to launch the raffle once again this year.
“In order to make it more attractive, along with the chance to win the stand sponsorship package worth £25,000, there will also be two runner up prizes in the form of sponsorship of the first team home shorts, which will include the company name and logo on the rear of the shorts worth £5,000, and an official match sponsorship package worth £1,000.
“This is an incredible deal to put your business at the forefront of football stadia advertising, and even if you don’t win the raffle, each business will still receive an advertising board and VIP hospitality tickets, so everyone’s a winner!”
The Crown Oil Arena has a 10,000 capacity and hosts over 100,000 visitors every year. Last year, 15 businesses purchased a raffle ticket and the winner of the Stand sponsorship prize was the Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre.
The raffle this year will be drawn at 12noon on Wednesday 29 November at Rochdale Town Hall by the Mayor & Mayoress of Rochdale. All businesses who purchase a raffle ticket will be invited to attend the draw and a VIP luncheon.
