The Youth Team’s Keith Kearney has returned to Radcliffe FC on work experience after impressing during a previous spell there.
The defender recently spent a month at the Evostik North side but returned to Rochdale last week to play in Dale’s FA Youth Cup tie against Accrington Stanley.
Joining Boro on Tuesday afternoon, Kearney went straight into their starting eleven for Tuesday night’s Lancashire Cup match against Atherton Laburnum Rovers, helping the side keep a clean sheet in a 2-0 win.
Kearney started six games for Boro during his last spell there.
