Joe Rafferty and Steven Davies delighted students at St Margaret’s C of E Primary School on Thursday afternoon.
The Dale players met with children from Year Four, taking part in a Q&A session and also signing autographs for the students.
Dale In The Community Sports Trust work with St Margaret’s C of E Primary School, delivering Premier League Primary Stars sessions.
The Trust have been successful in securing funding from the Premier League Charitable Fund (PLCF) to deliver free sessions to schools around the Rochdale Borough.
The sessions look to increase participation in PE, football and sport activities to enhance teachers' knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver high quality PE and school sports.
This programme will also allow teachers the opportunity to attend CPD events delivered by the FA, and also Rochdale AFC Community Trust staff, who are supported closely with the PFA.
