“The players were excellent on Saturday against Fleetwood in terms of keeping the ball and frustrating a good opposition on their home ground, especially in the first. As the game grew, we went a little bit direct too early but the performance is definitely something to build on and it had some good concepts that we can take into the Bolton fixture. Overall, it was an excellent point, said Beech.”
He continued: “We’re looking to gain a result on Tuesday. We’re trying to gain three points all the time. We get given a point each to start the match and we’ve got to look after it and we’ve got to turn that into three.
“We’re going against a big fish of the division at an excellent venue. They’ve got a great squad with good players who can and are doing great things, and they’ve got a new management team who want to do great. It’s going to be a real tough task but we’re really looking forward to it.
“Each individual will need to be near their maximum, the structure of the team will have to be right, the substitutes who come on to the pitch will have to assist and progress the situation, and everybody will have to be all in to make sure that we can gain something from the game.”
