Saturday’s home fixture against Scunthorpe United sees the Club welcome the College Bank Tenants & Resident Association.
They are the first community group to use the season tickets purchased by the Rochdale AFC Board of Directors, which will be used by various community groups across the Rochdale Borough.
The Directors purchased nine season tickets as part of Dale’s #WinnersTogether Season Ticket campaign, whilst a tenth has kindly been donated by Dennis Heywood and David Gartside from the Rochdale Supporters Trust.
The College Bank Tenants & Resident Association are based in one of the iconic Seven Sister’s Tower Blocks that dominate the Rochdale skyline.
The Association support the residents by running positive projects aimed at bringing the community together, from a job club aimed at helping residents back to work, to IT classes and Bingo sessions.
It is the first time at the Crown Oil Arena for many of the Association. We hope they enjoy their day, and look forward to them visiting again in the future!
