Manager Keith Hill has confirmed Ian Henderson and Callum Camps as his Team Captain and Vice Captain, respectively, ahead of the start of the 2017/18 campaign.
Speaking to iFollow, Hill said: “Callum signed an extension to his contract at the start of pre-season, so his intentions are there. He had a superb season last season, so if Ian Henderson is unavailable, then he’ll wear the Captain’s armband.
“I’ve got the likes of Jamie Allen and Jim McNulty who can also stand up to the ability of being Captain on the day, so it could change throughout the season, because no Captain is ever too good not to be rotated.”
