The Youth Team climbed to third in the North West Youth Alliance division on Saturday with a 1-0 win over Morecambe.
Jordan Prescott netted six minutes from time to secure the three points.
Matty Gillam showed excellent skill with a good run down the right before cutting inside and delivering low across goal for Prescott to tap home from close range.
Dale are now just four points off league leaders Blackpool with four games left to play.
