Rochdale Football Club was proud to host Monday night’s four nations tournament game between England U20s and USA U20s.
The Young Lions completed a clean sweep of victories, after winning 2-0 at the Crown Oil Arena. They had already beaten Germany and the Netherlands over the last week.
Late goals from Ovie Ejaria and Dominic Solanke secured the points, to see England finish top of the mini-group and be crowned champions.
Ejaria broke the deadlock six minutes from time as he finished low into the bottom corner of the net, before Dominic Solanke netted from the penalty spot in stoppage time.
