Callum Flood and Xavier Harris will lead the teams out ahead of kick-off at Saturday’s League One fixture against Swindon Town.
Dale fan Callum is two-years-old and is from Chessington in Surrey. His Dad hopes he’ll play for Rochdale one day.
Meanwhile, Xavier won’t know he’ll be leading the teams out onto the pitch until the day of the game, as the mascot experience has been organised a surprise for him.
The six-year-old’s Dad has a terminal brain tumour and it’s his dying wish to take his son to a football match at the Crown Oil Arena. After being contacted by the family, Rochdale Football Club have moved quickly to grant the wish. Xavier will be joined at the game by his Dad and other members of his family.
We hope both boys have a day to remember!
