We would like to say thank you to everyone who sponsored #TeamRochdale's run to Oldham.
Youth Team players and staff, club staff, representatives from Dale's Community Trust and Desmond the Dragon came together to run the 7 miles.
Sponsorship money is still being collected but we estimate that around £1000 has been raised for Ellis Robinson, a former RAFC Academy player who has tragically been left paralysed following a freak footballing accident. The money will go towards Ellis' rehabilitation and his fight to walk again.
We'd also like to thank Oldham Athletic for their support in joining Dale's first team players in wearing specially made #TeamEllis t-shirts during the warm-up at Saturday's game.
