We were delighted to welcome members of the Bengali and Asian Community to Spotland Stadium at the weekend to enjoy the 2-1 win over Scunthorpe United.
The gathering, organised by local community leader, Syed Juber Ahmed, united members of the community across all ages for a great day out.
Leading members of the Asian community attended the day, including Councillor Sultan Ali, Councillor Shefali Ahmed and Councillor Ali Ahmed, along with children from the Wardleworth Community Centre.
Syed Juber Ahmed said: “We had a fantastic day at Spotland and we are proud to support our local football team. We want to spread the word within the Asian Community and encourage more supporters to attend and unite. We wish Rochdale a winning season and continued success”.
