The Youth Team's 4-1 win over Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday afternoon saw them return to the top of the league.
Their fourth consecutive win sent them top of the North West Youth Alliance table, leapfrogging Bury in the process. Dale are now a point ahead of second placed Shakers, having played the same number of games.
Goals from Billy Hasler-Cregg, James Hooper and Dom Reid, plus a Shrews own goal, earned Dale the three points in Shropshire.
