Pearl Street Stand – Important Info

2 April 2015

Important information regarding the Pearl Street Stand for Monday’s League One fixture v Port Vale…

Rochdale Football Club would like to apologise to season ticket holders and other supporters who usually attend and watch games from the Pearl Street Stand ahead of the game against Port Vale on Bank Holiday Monday.

Due to the high winds on Monday evening, there has been some significant damage to the roof of the Pearl Street Stand, which made it unsafe to occupy.

Work has taken place since then to make the stand safe ahead of Hornets’ Good Friday clash against Oldham and Dale’s Easter Monday fixture against the Valiants.

Whilst we have managed to make the stand safe for supporters to occupy, unfortunately we haven’t been able to complete a full repair ahead of the weekend’s fixtures due to the time constraints leading up to the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

The main area which has been affected is the lighter covered panels in the roof, particularly the ones at the front of the stand (closest to the pitch) and above rows A to F.

Ahead of Monday, we’d like to advise supporters that if it’s raining on the day, you may need to move to another section of the stand that is not affected to avoid getting wet.

We will be looking to conduct permanent repairs after the Bank Holiday weekend.

We would like to thank you for your understanding in this matter and again apologise in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused.
