Rochdale’s under 18 side return to league action on Tuesday afternoon as they face Accrington Stanley at home.
The game, which takes place at Radcliffe Borough’s Stainton Park, kicks off at 2pm.
Dale head into the encounter following last week’s penalty shoot-out defeat to Preston North End in the first round of the Youth Alliance Cup.
Speaking ahead of the fixture, Rick Ashcroft, Dale’s Head of Academy Coaching, commented: “It’s quite local so there’s a little bit of rivalry there. Accrington are on the up in terms of their Academy and we’re expecting a tough challenge.
“We’re looking forward to getting back on the horse after unfortunately being beaten by Preston on penalties, so we can’t wait.”
