Ashley Eastham has earned a place in the Football League's Team of the Week.
The defender has been named amongst the eleven top performing players from across the Football League (Championship, League One and League Two) following his impressive displays against Walsall and Coventry City. He also scored his first goal for the club during the week, netting Dale's second in the 4-0 win over the Saddlers.
The Football League's official website says: "Eastham was integral in a Dale defence that didn't concede a goal in either of their two games this week, against Walsall and Coventry City. That gave them the platform to collect maximum points and Eastham scored his first goal for the club."
Eastham is the third Dale player to be named in the Team of the Week this season, with Matty Done and Peter Vincenti recently earning a place in the eleven for their impressive performances.
