The summer soccer sessions delivered by the Dale in the Community Sports Trust team proved extremely popular, with the courses attracting a record turn-out.
Almost 400 boys and girls attended the courses, which took place at six different venues across the Borough, including The Soccer Factory and Wardle Academy.
During the six week period, numerous Rochdale AFC players took time out their schedule to meet the youngsters for excitable discussions, as well as question & answer sessions.
All attenders received an autographed Dale football, a certificate of attendance, goodies from the club, plus complimentary tickets for an upcoming home match at Spotland.
The Head of Dale in the Community Sport Trust, Keith Hicks, said: “It has been a fabulous summer with a record number of children attending our courses, which provide a safe, fun and enjoyable experience.
“I can only thank the Trust coaches, who have been complimented by numerous parents over the summer period, for their enthusiasm and commitment, as well as thanking the kids for taking part."
