Gillingham: Kids HT Challenge Match

16 October 2014

The Dale in the Community Sports Trust will welcome pupils from Beech Hill School (Rochdale) and Tonacliffe Primary School (Whitworth) onto the Spotland pitch during half-time at Saturday’s match v Gillingham.

They’ll be taking part in the half-time challenge match, which gives them the opportunity to show off their skills on the pitch in front of the Spotland crowd.

The youngsters all received free tickets for Saturday's League One encounter as part of the Community Trust's schools initiative, which sees thousands of free tickets given out to schools across the Borough every season.

Pupils from Holy Family Primary School and St Mary's Primary School in Middleton (pictured above) took to the pitch at our last home league game. Their half-time challenge match finished all square despite many attempts on goal.
