A message from Scott Hogan...
I'd just like to say thanks for all the messages of support that I've had from the fans over the last few days. As you can imagine, I've been feeling pretty low since Friday night but it has been pretty emotional to read all the tweets and comments from fans. I'm hoping that I won't be out for too long, and I'll be back in the squad as soon as possible to try and help finish what we've started this season.
Aside from Friday's injury, it's been a brilliant season so far and I've loved every moment of it. I've learned so much this season, and it makes me even more determined to repay everyone at the club for showing faith in me.
Saturday's game will be a tough one. Accrington showed last week that they are capable of beating anyone, and the lads will have to be at their best to get three points. It made such a difference at Bury last week to see such fantastic support cheering us on, and we'll need every one of you behind us again. The lads in the changing room have been full of praise for the fans this season, and we are desperate to make this a season for you to be proud of.
I won't be playing this Saturday but I'll be there cheering the lads on so please join me, we are all part of Team Rochdale so let's all do our part.
Thanks once again for all you have done this season and for the messages of support I have received.
