It has been confirmed that Kevin Gibbins has joined the first team’s backroom staff, taking over from Ross Preston,who has gone onto pastures new, as fitness and conditioning coach.
Kevin, a former scholar at the club, returned to Spotland last summer to take up the role of sport scientist with the youth team, and has now progressed to the first team.
We’d like to thank Ross for his hard-work and commitment to the Dale cause during what was a successful season for the first team, culminating in promotion to League One, as well as wishing him the best of luck for the future.
