Across the weekend, Clubs commemorated and celebrated the spirit of the Christmas Truce football matches of 1914 by taking part in a photographic event called ‘A Moment in History’.
The photographs kicked off ‘Football Remembers Week’, which is a series of Christmas Truce related events running from Friday 5 December to Monday 15 December, and being delivered jointly by the Premier League, The FA and the Football League, in partnership with the British Council.
In all matches across the Premier League, the Championship and The FA Cup Second Round, the 22 players who started each match posed together with the Match Officials in a pre-match group photograph.
