#BlackToBlue for opener - show your true colours for opening match of the season
Will you be showing your true colours this Saturday as we host Peterborough United in the opening game of the season?
We want supporters to create a ‘Wall of Colour’ by donning BLUE for the opener.
Who remembers pink pants day at the end of last season? That was a day to remember - can we achieve the same again?
You can wear the brand new home shirt, a blue wig, blue trousers, blue t-shirt, or scarf. You could even paint your face.
Our Groundstaff have already got involved – they’ve put up new blue netting ahead of Saturday’s match. You can see the pics on Twitter and Facebook.
Ahead of the weekend, we want your photos featuring blue – it can be you pictured wearing a blue shirt from seasons gone by (don’t forget to tell us the story associated with it), you wearing the new 2014/15 shirt abroad or around the Borough.
Blue is everywhere – from the sky, to blue jeans, to bluebirds and the Blues genre of music, so as well as sending us your pics wearing your Dale strips, why not think outside the box – you can be as direct or as abstract as you wish.
The best will be published on the website, with entry one winning a brand new home shirt (or away shirt if you're already pictured wearing your home shirt). Send us your entries before 4pm on Friday.
