Dale's youth team now have a break in their fixture list, with the side not back in action until Saturday 5th October when they face Grimsby Town in the first round of the Youth Alliance Cup.
Rick Ashcroft's side were 3-1 winners over Macclesfield Town on Saturday, and this sees them remain five points clear at the top of the division, with a game in hand.
Danny Whitehall netted twice from the spot, while Dimi Tuanzebe scored the other in the victory over the Silkmen.
