A home tie against Crewe Alexandra or Coventry City await for Dale’s under 18 side in the second round of the FA Youth Cup if they can see off their first round opponents.
Dale face the winners of the third round qualifying match between Warrington Town and Mickleover Sports in the first round of the competition, with the match due to be played before November 9th. A date for the fixture will be confirmed once the opponents are known.
Should Dale reach the next round of the competition they’ll take on either Crewe Alexandra, who they knocked out at the third round stage last season, or Coventry City.
The tie must be played by November 23rd.
The Youth Team reached the fifth round of the competition last year and exited the cup despite a valiant performance against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
