Rochdale will travel to fellow League Two side Chesterfield in the area quarter final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
The draw was made live on Sky Sports' Soccer AM on Saturday morning.
The tie at the Proact Stadium will be played on the week commencing November 11th.
