Hogan: I'm Ready For It

10 May 2013

Scott Hogan is relishing the opportunity to play league football after agreeing a two year deal with Rochdale on Thursday afternoon.

The 21-year-old spent time as a trainee with Dale before leaving in the summer of 2011. He went on to have spells at Halifax Town, Ashton United and most recently Hyde FC where he netted three times in eleven appearances for the Tigers. Hogan told Dale Player that he can’t wait to get started: “I’ve just turned 21 and my main aim is to play league football. Rochdale and Keith Hill have given me the opportunity to do that so I’m looking forward to making the step up and I believe I’m more than capable of doing that.

“The main reason I parted ways last time was because the demands of professional football was a lot for me as an 18 year old coming straight from college. I hadn’t been around Football Clubs as such and my body and mind weren’t developed enough for it. In the time I’ve been away I’ve come on no end and I’m ready for it now. I’m looking forward to getting going.”
