In the run up to the summer holidays, over seventy and boys and girls from St Vincent’s Primary School in Rochdale got involved in after school sessions organised by Dale's Football in the Community Trust.
Over a five week period, the Trust team delivered their coaching sessions which involves dribbling, passing & control, heading, goalkeeping and shooting.
The kids who took part received a complimentary ticket for Rochdale’s pre-season friendly match against Blackburn Rovers at Spotland.
The Trust has a long lasting relationship with St Vincent’s and have been coaching at school for over fifteen years.
As well as the after school sessions, the Trust have also recently spent a full week there coaching every child and hosting a sponsored penalty shoot out where the funds were split between the Trust and the school.
This provided much needed funds for the school and for the Football in the Community who operate as a charitable trust.
