Rochdale’s under 18 side made it back to back wins from their opening two games of the season after coming from behind to record a 3-2 victory against ten man Carlisle United at Moor Lane on Saturday.
The visitors opened the scoring, but Danny Whitehall equalised for Dale from the penalty spot on the stroke of half time as part of an incident which saw United reduced to ten men.
Second half goals from Dominic Reid and Andy Cannon saw Rick Ashcroft’s side go 3-1 ahead, before Carlisle reduced the deficit with a late penalty.
