Important Call From The Club

25 April 2013

Rochdale AFC and Plymouth Argyle Football Club are urging all supporters who are attending Saturday’s match at Spotland not to encroach the pitch at any during the game, and in particular at the full time whistle.

Once the game is over both clubs would like to thank supporters for their support throughout the season and in order to do this it is important that fans stay off the pitch.

On Saturday it is planned that at the end of the game when both sets of players have shook hands with each other and the match officials, the Rochdale players will leave the pitch for a short time to allow the Plymouth Argyle players and staff to go over to the travelling Green Army to thank them for their support.

Once the Plymouth players have left the pitch Keith Hill and Captain Peter Cavanagh will lead the Rochdale players and staff back out on to the pitch to thank all Dale fans in the home areas of the ground for their support throughout the season.

The co-operation of all supporters attending the game on Saturday will be appreciated by both clubs.
