Manager and skipper up for September Award
Dale manager John Coleman and captain Andrew Tutte have been nominated for the Football League’s Manager and Player of the Month award for September.
Coleman’s side also eased through the second round of the Johnstone’s Paints Trophy have edged out Fleetwood Town on penalties at the beginning of September. Rochdale lost just one game in a fantastic month for the club who have remained unbeaten since.
Tutte has been a stand out performer who has led by example since taking over the captaincy from the injured Peter Cavanagh and found the net in the 2-1 win over league leaders Gillingham at Priestfield on the final match day of the month.
