The Club has today effectively become Tenants of The Ratcliffe Bars and Suites
The Club has today effectively become Tenants of The Ratcliffe Bars and Suites in a deal arranged with JW Lees. This means that all profits generated through the Ratcliffe will now come directly to the Club. In addition to match day trade it now means that we have an excellent function and events facility and will benefit from non-match day business with one of the very best venues in the town.
The Club will be holding a series of their own events at the Ratcliffe and would encourage supporters to make it their first choice for any events they may be planning. This includes Birthday’s, Weddings, Club events and any Celebration or party. The Venue is also ideal for business meetings and conferences and has excellent parking facilities giving it the advantage over other rooms in the area. Bookings and enquiries can be made by calling The Ratcliffe on 01706 861040 or the Club on 0844 826 1907. You can also find out more details of the facilities by visiting www.ratcliffebars.co.uk
In addition to the takeover of The Ratcliffe the Supporters Trust and the Club have been working hard to make Studds Bar a place for supporters to congregate and enjoy a match day drink in a more supporter orientated environment. This week 23 shirts have been mounted in Studds Bar, the first of several improvements planned to make Studds Bar a true, supporters venue. Studds Bar will be open on Saturday as usual before and during the match and the live match between West Ham and Fulham will be on the big screen from 12:30.
These exciting developments give supporters a real choice and range of facilities as good as any in the League and the development of non-match day business in the Ratcliffe opens up new revenue generating opportunities which we are an important addition to the Club’s commercial activities.
The Ratcliffe Suite will be open on the final whistle so please come along and enjoy a post match pint with us. You can access the bars from inside the ground at the rear of the Main Stand and from Sandy Lane.
