The first of two Jordan Williams in the Rochdale squad, this one was recruited from Barrow in June 2017, signing a two-year contract at the Crown Oil Arena.

The 25-year-old scored 12 goals for the National League outfit during his time there and was in their side that lost to Dale in the third round of the FA Cu during the 2016/17 season.

Jordan has risen through the ranks of non-league football after starting his career at Burscough, before moving to Northwich Victoria. His talents were spotted by Barrow manager Paul Cox, who signed Williams for the Holker Street outfit in January 2016. Jordan was also involved in the England C team during his time at Barrow.

In January 2018, he moved out on loan from the Crown Oil Arena to Lincoln City, spending the second half of the season at Sincil Bank, as the Imps secured their place in the League Two play-offs.
