Dorking Wanderers vs Rochdale AFC | Vanarama National League, Saturday 23rd September, Meadowbank Stadium, 3pm Kick-Off

It is the second of back-to-back long journeys south on Saturday, as we travel to Dorking Wanderers.

Jimmy McNulty’s men are unbeaten in three games, following 1-1 draws at Kidderminster Harriers and Boreham Wood, which sandwiched a 4-2 win at home to then league leaders Barnet.

Dale fans can pay on the day at Dorking, using cash or card. Please note, there is only one turnstile available for away fans, so arrive in plenty of time.

THE OPPOSITION

Dale face new opposition for the sixth time in our first 11 games this weekend.

Dorking were only founded in 1999 but have earned 12 promotions in 23 seasons to reach National League level.

Co-founder and Chairman Marc White has also been the Manager throughout that time, achieving promotion to the fifth tier in 2022 and finishing 16th in their first season.

They are currently 12th in the table and are unbeaten in four, winning their previous two games 1-0 at FC Halifax Town and 3-1 at home to Wealdstone.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

This will be the first ever meeting between the two sides.

MAN IN THE MIDDLE

Aaron Farmer will be the referee for Saturday’s game. It is his first season at National League level and his fifth match at the level.

Andrew Gray and Graham Swanton are assistant referees, with Joel Lamping as fourth official.
