Rochdale Football Club are proud to announce that Smith Metals have renewed their sponsorship of the Pearl Street Stand for the 2023-24 season.
A name that is synonymous with Dale fans, their branding will be present on top of the Smith Metals Family Stand for the sixth consecutive year.
Smith Metals have been a sponsor of the club through various avenues for the past 44 years, since their inception in 1979.
They were front of playing shirt sponsors between the years of 1990 and 1994, which included some iconic shirts that are amongst supporters’ all-time favourites.
Jason Wilson, owner of Smith Metals, said: “We at Smith Metals, along with our Rochdale site Britannia Metals, are delighted to have reached an agreement to continue supporting the club.
“Like all supporters, we are excited to get this new season underway and are hopeful of a very successful season. Good luck to Jimmy McNulty and all the team!”
Matt Davies, Commercial Executive at Rochdale AFC, added: “I am very excited to extend this sponsorship deal, in part due to how iconic the name is within our fanbase.
