The Youth Team are at home to Carlisle United in the EFL Youth Alliance League on Saturday.
Dale are back in action for the first time since before Christmas, when they were harshly beaten by Premier League Fulham 4-3 in the FA Youth Cup third round.
The youngsters went toe-to-toe with a team that sits second in the English U18 Premier League South and left with their heads held high.
Since Lee Thorpe’s arrival as Dale’s new Professional Development Phase Lead Coach, the Youth Team had won four games in a row, prior to that Fulham game.
Carlisle’s last game came against Fleetwood Town at the beginning of December, when they won 2-0.
Kick-off is at 11am at Stalybridge Celtic’s Bower Fold. Entry is free for supporters who wish to attend.
